Task 8: GPOY



This photo is from the first time I went to Licanray in Southern Chile, and shows my first meeting with the biggest sopaipillas I ever saw, I enjoyed, admired and chewed them. Now I just miss them, their soft taste, warm, with manjar, with tomato, alone, with my boyfriend, with the birds chirping, with my feet in the lake, with the sunset... The best gastronomic trip of all jajaja.


This trip was a journey from Santiago to Licanray, passing through different cities and wonderful villages. For example, I had never been to Salto del Laja, and although I found it very attractive, the local people said that before there was much more water. There I remember eating homemade empanadas haha, then on the road we ate tortillas de rescoldo. Afterwards, we ate a cheesecake-like kuchen with "murta", blueberries and raspberries.... I think the trip started with eating and ended the same way haha. However, by walking every afternoon to buy my sopaipillas I burned enough calories to be able to swallow 5 a day (or so I calculated haha).

Task 7: Postgraduate Studies

 I would like to do a postgraduate degree in History, mention in History of Chile, because history is one of the humanities subjects that has always caught my attention. So, I would like to do this graduate degree in Chile (logical), but to take the knowledge to different parts of the world, comparing it with international knowledge.  Ideally I would like to study in classroom mode, and with good teachers who make national history dynamic.  Finally, this is not the postgraduate course I would most like to study. However, it is the easiest because it would be done in Santiago.

Task 3: The best holidays ever

The best holidays ever was this year, in January. I think it wasnt a reeally holidays, but it was a funnn time. This year my mom and my little brother made a trip to El Maule, to visiting my grandma and grandpa, but I was in classes, so I had to stay in Santiago.  I was alone for about three weeks I think, and how we cannot go out I stayed at home, but ALONE. I didnt know that I reeeaally needed this time alone, and even more after an entire year of Covid pandemic with my family every day.  My activities were clean the house, of course, emptying the pantry jaja, cooked everything I founded, sing loud, workout, study of course jaja, watch movies all night on the couch and fall sleep until the next day, order food delivery, stay with my bf, clean the house again (I like that), and more fun things.  My bf was with me in this great trip jaja, and I´m happy about that. Task 5: A Meal or Food You Really Like

I think my favorite food is the chocolate truffle pancake cake, with chocolate frosting, chocolate truffle cream, "manjar", truffle filling, with nuts. No cherries, or anything to ruin it. I guess you make the pancakes first, then fill for each level, then put the levels together and top with the cream and nuts.  I really like it because there always comes a point in my life when I say "mm I need something sweet" and although there is almost never any of that cake in my house, when it is there I absolve all my cravings. So, I always wait for family birthdays to eat it haha. Related to the nutritional contribution, I think it is null, but the sugar contributes to my mental health, so I guess it is good for my body. I am so sorry for no publicated a pic of this beauty, but the images of the pastry shop are copyrighted.
